Job Overview

As a Coach Lead, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts per session. This part-time position requires a strong ability to coach, manage time and motivate multiple clients in a group setting.

An OTF Coach Lead with work in partnership with the Studio Manager to assist with the daily fitness operations. This role will report to the Studio Manager.

What you Will Do

• Create a positive, high-energy workout experience for up to 30+ Orangetheory members as the subject matter expertise in heart rate-zone training.
• Collaborate with OTF staff to execute marketing campaigns, community and corporate events, and various other fitness event initiatives.
• In partnership with the SM, handle administrative duties equaling no more than 11 clocked-in hours a week including hires, trains and educates new OTF coaches for success using OTF business model.
• Build and retain membership attendance through phone calls, text messages, emails, and / or social media posts.
• In partnership with the SM responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor as well as other areas of the studio.
• Leads / instructs between 6-10 OTF training sessions per week including weekends if needed.
• Establish rapport with members to better understand fitness goals and their health journey.
• Responsible for follow up communication with new, current and former OTF studio clients.
• Collects, reviews and coaches the fitness staff on program design and lesson plans.
• Along with the SM conducts monthly fitness staff meetings and attends all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings.
• Handles member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution.
• Maintain current, active employee files for direct reports which include resume, CPR cards, fitness certifications, and various other management documents.
• May perform other duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High energy, self-motivated and driven fitness professional.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and accountability.
• Proven success delivering training and leading small groups.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and other information systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as needed, including weekends and holidays

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• At least 2 years of personal training or group fitness experience (preferred)
• Must have a valid Fitness Certification from ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA & AFFA.
• Must have a valid CPR / AED Certification

Work Conditions

• Frequent walking and standing inside and outside of the studio.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, kneel, climb, and / or standing on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to routinely travel across the region and on occasion other nearby territories.
