Role : Business Solution Architect (StarLIMS)
End Client : Fortune 500 company
Job Type / Duration : 6-month contract-to-hire
Ideal Start Date : 01 / 06 / 25
Location : Preferably local to Arizona; Desert Southwest, ideally in Arizona time zone.
Travel : Candidate will be asked to travel to Phoenix and mining locations as needed (up to 25% travel).
Compensation :
- $91.70hr to $110hr
- W2 or 1099 (only)
Conversion Salary range : $140,000 - $165,000 plus a 15-20% annual bonus as a full-time employee
Interview Process : Two steps Functional and Technical interview, plus a culture screen.

Job Overview :
This Business Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions that meet strategic goals, with an emphasis on laboratory and material analysis systems (LIMS).
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to align solutions with business needs, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate :
The ideal candidate for the Business Solution Architect role is an experienced leader in solution architecture with at least 8 years of experience, particularly skilled in designing and implementing laboratory and material analysis systems.
They have a strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices and are adept at translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
With excellent communication and leadership skills, they can effectively mentor junior staff and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Architecture and Design :
Lead the architecture and design of business solutions focused on laboratory and material analysis systems.
Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
Engage with senior stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentorship and Team Development :
Mentor and coach junior architects and technical staff to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Solution Review and Compliance :
Conduct regular reviews to ensure solutions meet business needs, performance standards, and security requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for solution architectures and processes.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years in solution architecture or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
Technical Expertise :
Experience in designing and implementing laboratory and material analysis systems; StarLIMS experience preferred.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
Interpersonal Skills :
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
