SmarterHR Solutions is seeking knowledgeable Cybersecurityindividuals for their IT clients contract Jr. EnterpriseInformation Security Professional position in their Cybersecurity and Threat Management department.

Under Manager direction the Junior Enterprise Information SecurityProfessional will execute threat intelligence reports threatvulnerability and incident management processes to help ensurecybersecurity risks and threats are proactively identified andaddressed to maintain the protection of company information andinformationsystems.

JobDuties :

Reviews cyber threat intelligence and information security reportsfrom various sources and take appropriate action to prioritizecommunicate and ensure appropriate risk mitigation.

Communicates with IT teams andmanagement to warn of possible risks to data and systems promoteplans to mitigate those risks write cybersecurity alerts andadvisories.

Utilizes threatintelligence to mitigate potential data threats protect data andimpede criminals from accessing regulatory and proprietary data.

Identifies securityvulnerabilities and pinpoint indicators of compromise (IOC) such assuspicious IP addresses URLs email addresses and attachmentsregistry keys and filenames that may signify malware attacksphishing attempts or attacks from external hosts.

Compile comprehensive auditreports identifying potential risks / threats.

Under the supervision of aSenior Analyst carry out security assessments in relation toprojects and change management.

Develop general and detailed documentation describing systemspecifications and operating instructions.

Ensure infrastructureapplications and data security / privacy controls are maintained incompliance with corporate and regulatory policies.

Participate as a member of theThreat Management team resolving client side issues as and whenneeded.

Support businesscontinuity processes (backups replication etc) through continueddocumenting and testing of infrastructure environment.

Report on KPIs in relation tocompliance and effectiveness of the information security controlsand ensure the reporting to key stakeholders.

May also participate in theevaluation and implementation of other new security solutions.

May participate on CybersecurityIncident Response Team (CIRT) investigation and response activitiesas required.

Requirements

Education :

High School diploma or G.E.D.equivalency from an accredited educational institution.

Experience :

One (1) year of work experiencein Information Security Information Technology Computer Science orrelated field.

Strong analyticaland problemsolving skills.
