Director of Advancement. This person will be an active member of the Advancement Team.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and enroll prospective students.
This role requires a dynamic, outgoing individual with a passion for education and the mission of Incarnate Word High School.
The Specialist will work closely with school leadership, faculty, and staff to achieve enrollment goals and ensure a smooth admissions process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive student recruitment plan aligned with the school’s mission and enrollment goals.
- Identify and target key markets and demographics for potential students.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, including open houses, school visits, and community outreach programs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, feeder schools, and community organizations.
- Coordinate interviews, campus tours, and shadow days for prospective students.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from prospective students and their families.
- Foster strong connections with alumnae and leverage their networks for recruitment purposes.
- Collaborate with Communications Specialist to create engaging recruitment materials, including brochures, social media content, and website updates.
- Develop and deliver presentations to prospective students, families, and community groups.
- Oversee the admissions application process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications.
- Manage communication campaigns to keep prospective students and families informed throughout the admissions process.
- Evaluate applications and assist in making admissions decisions.
- Track and analyze recruitment and enrollment data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for school leadership on recruitment and enrollment metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and admissions data.
- Manage the scholarship process, including creating and updating the scholarship application.
- Coordinate scholarship application reviews and selection processes.
- Communicate scholarship opportunities to prospective and current students and their families.
- Support signature events of the Advancement team.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
PREFERRED EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related area, preferably in a Catholic or private school setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student database ie. Blackbaud.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
