We seek a proactive, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift with proven hands-on experience working with hand tools and power tools, along with solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic abilities, to successfully complete maintenance assignments and other related duties.
This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work closely with the other maintenance technicians to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the production line and facility operations.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to :
Through observation of equipment during the day, you will be working with the Maintenance Supervisors and Techs, performing light maintenance, supply management, and special projects with regard to our production line and facilities.
Light Maintenance
oGreasing and oiling all equipment / conveyors
oCleaning internal components of equipment
oInternal washer cleaning
oPropane pump system daily maintenance
oAir compressor daily / weekly / monthly maintenance
oWearable part replacement / maintenance
Supply Management
Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Supervisor / Manager.
Desired skills and experience :
- Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, computer consoles, and other equipment.
- Complete maintenance assignments and assigned tasks and repairs in a timely manner.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or Vocational Technical Certificate training in at least one of the following : Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds at times throughout the day as well as bend, climb, reach, stoop & twist.
- Solid work ethic, detailed, enthusiastic, committed, proactive, and resourceful; effectively gets the job done.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and thoughtful manner with customers and co-workers.
