ComForCare Home Care in New York City is looking for reliable, dedicated caregivers who truly want to improve the lives of our respected Veterans.

As we are closely affiliated with VA hospitals and programs, the shifts can vary with the needs of each patient, starting with 4 hours per day.

Qualifications :

• Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification
• Full Physical Report and Drug Screening within the past year
• 2 professional reference letters within the past 3 years
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Patience, empathy, and compassion!

Job Responsibilities : Assist with activities of daily living, as well as thoughtful or creative activities to engage each unique client.

Depending on their individual needs, you may be asked to help with :

• Dressing, grooming, and hygiene (if needed)
• Ambulation around the house
• Encouraging exercise and fluids
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Running errands
• Accompaniment to doctor's appointments
