We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Loan Officer specializing in Residential loans to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling an extensive array of residential loans including FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and using Calyx Point.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely, with the freedom to manage your own schedule and the advantage of a 100% commission pay structure.

Responsibilities :

1. Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of residential real estate loans.

2. Advise borrowers on financial status and payment methods, including the disadvantages and advantages of various loan products and necessary documentation for each.

3. Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine the feasibility of granting loans.

4. Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.

5. Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.

6. Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers' needs.

7. Work closely with clients, developing relationships and a strong understanding of their financial situations to offer the best possible solutions.

8. Utilize Calyx Point for processing loan applications and managing customer information.

9. Coordinate with underwriters and loan processors ensuring all documentation is obtained and correctly interpreted.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the mortgage industry.

2. Proven experience with a variety of loan types including FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo.

3. Proficiency in using Calyx Point or a similar software (encompass, etc)

4. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal loan regulations.

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.

6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.

7. Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.

8. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

9. NMLS License is required.

10. High-speed internet connection for remote work.
