Job Summary

We areseeking a Compressor Engineer with a mechanical engineeringbackground to join our Riyadh Refinery Department Reliability Unit(RU).

The RU functions as a centralized engineering unit dedicatedto meeting the technical needs of our refinery operations. Itprovides critical support in compressor monitoring technicalassistance troubleshooting and coordinates Predictive Maintenance(PdM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities.

Your primary role within the RU will be to offer technicalsupport to our refinery operating plants projects and technologydeployments.

Additionally you will play a key role in thedevelopment of junior Compressor Engineers conducting specialstudies and analyses focused on specialized rotating equipmentassets.

You will manage our reliability programs and spearhead thedevelopment of monitoring programs aimed at enhancing equipmentavailability and reliability across the refinery.

This position requires a strong background in mechanicalengineering particularly in compressor systems and the ability todrive continuous improvement initiatives that optimize operationalefficiency and reliability within the refineryenvironment.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Provide technical guidance support training and expertiseto plant departments.
• Assess plant operationsmaintenance and engineering for rotating equipment and compressorsystems recommending actions for improvements and systemoptimization.
• Develop and maintain lifecyclemanagement activities for rotating equipment and compressorsystems.
• Coordinate Predictive Maintenance(PdM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) for rotating equipment andcompressor systems.
• Ensure manufacturingknowledge is captured and continuous improvement is achieved bybenchmarking and improving practices across operatingfacilities.
• Provide leadership and support forrotating equipment and compressor systems across operatingfacilities.
• Offer engineering expertise andconsulting on plant rotating equipment and compressorsystems.
• Conduct thorough failure analysis andissue recommendations participating in equipment major failureinvestigation teams.
• Gather and analyzecritical operating parameters from DCS PI systems and operatorchecklists recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed technical scopes for major equipmentoverhauls.
• Maintain and execute installationconfiguration and upgrade procedures.
• Lead orsupport plant outages shutdowns and troubleshootproblems.
• Perform system testing and healthmonitoring utilizing system logs for troubleshooting.
• Create and implement new strategies to improveproductivity and support startup and maintenanceactivities.
• Review Engineering Design Change(EDC) new and upgrade project packages providingcomments.
• Establish and maintain an assetfault analysis database ensuring completeness of data drawings andinformation and updating all modifications.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
• BachelorsDegree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of10 years experience in rotating equipment within a refinery or thePetrochemical industry.
• Thorough knowledge ofbest engineering practices solid industry codes and standardsbackground.
• Proficiency in engineeringsoftware such as System1 CCC or Vibration CSI.
