About the Role : The Strategic Planning Manager is a pivotal role that drives commercial strategies across Corporate Accounts and the Divisions of Boston Scientific.
This role is instrumental in maximizing business impact and value.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy Development : Develop and execute commercial strategies for the US Corporate Accounts & Healthcare Solutions, Government and ASC / OBL Teams Utilize the sales tools to provide strategic guidance and supporting insights for growth Partner with the field to assess needs and provide customer focused solutions, support in building customer strategy and provide divisional support.
Provide thought partnership for the Strategy Plan and Annual Operating Plan annual processes Influence various levels of leadership and divisional partners to address short and long-term business challenges
Project Management : Proactively plans and implements projects and initiatives critical to commercial model success. Influence the planning and lead the execution of strategic initiatives including account planning, business planning & execution, product launch planning, performance analytics and meeting planning.
Enable solutions for internal customers with sales processes, communications, tools, and training to exceed business objectives
Collaboration and Leadership : Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to execute commercial strategies. Understand business drivers and uncover commercial opportunities to facilitate the planning and execution of strategic objectives Identify changing external customer needs, industry trends, competitive models, and long-term macro trends (pricing, policy, industry, services, partnerships) Support Corporate Accounts leadership in prioritization of key initiatives
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Background in sales, sales operations, and / or marketing.
- Proven analytical and strategic planning abilities with strong business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional abilities in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficient in Salesforce.com and Tableau.
- Ability to travel 10-20%.
