Pay : $38-$42 / hr AND OPPORTUNITY FOR $68 / hr for special projects

M-F 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm (40 hours)
Must Haves :
- GED / HS Diploma
- Driver's License w / a clean record, can pass a drug & background check
- 3+ years’ experience with Industrial Pump diagnosis and repair
Plusses :
- Colorado CDL for a 40-foot trailer / Truck
- Machining experience with manual Lathe or Mill
- Welding TIG, MIG, Stick, for baseplates and pipes, skids
Day to Day :
A small industrial pump repair company is looking for a Pump Technician for Front Range Colorado, working M-F typically 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm.
The company has been in business over 70 years and is well established in the pump industry. The team is small but has many years of high level diagnostic and repair experience, and is looking to bring someone in to share their knowledge with to build skills (at this company, you are seen as a valuable asset to the team, not just another number.)
The Pump Tech will take direction from VPs, Project Management or a Master Electrician and may work alone or with team members.
They will play a crucial role in disassembly, repair, and reassembly of Industrial / Municipal / Commercial Pump systems for various industries (water, chemical, sewage, oils, etc.
Responsibilities include approximately 50% field work utilizing company provided truck; including working on pumps, motors, controls, pipes, and valves for various clients.
Tech will perform approximately 50% hands on shop work, inspecting parts, sandblasting, ordering components, painting, and testing systems.
Tech may work with Mill / Lathe machining and welding if they have the required skillset. The technician needs to be able to handle sewage, hazardous liquids, confined spaces, and high voltage;
must be able to communicate well with clients, suppliers, and company staff, and use basic computer and blueprint reading skills.
The technician is expected to provide own personal hand and portable electric tools. The company will provide specialized tools and test equipment.
