Sono-Diag / Vas Tech needed asapSHIFT : M-F EVENINGS (3 : 30P-12A)1-2 DAYS CALL PER WEEKREQUIREMENTS : - ARDMS- RVT- BLS- AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALTY PREFERRED TRAVELERS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE NECESSARY INFO OR REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REJECTED MUST INCLUDE THE HOME ADDRESS & SSN ON THE SUBMISSIONS- TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITYThe Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and / or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to : abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
REQUIREMENTS :
