Job Description
This Black Belt position will be focused on driving continuous improvement in workforce management by leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to idenfity inefficiencies, develop improvement strategies, and drive operational excellence.
Essential Functions
Workforce Management
- Develop and implement labor strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Leverage lean six sigma methodologies to optimize labor models and deliver plans for ongoing process improvement
- Recommend and implement workforce management technologies, such as scheduling software and analytics tools, to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Process Improvement
- Lead two lean six sigma projects annually with measured benefits
- Manage projects and problem solving with lean six sigma tools such as DMAIC, Kaizen, PDCA, and 5S
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities, support projects, and influence business decisions
- Mentor and coach Green Belts within department and across the organization
- Facilitate cross-functional Kaizen events and guide lean six sigma practices for the organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment
- Ensure successful rollout and results of new projects and processes
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, business management, engineering, or information technology required
- Minimum 5 years experience in lean six sigma or workforce management required
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
Specialized Knowledge
- Advanced analytical skills required (Excel, Tableau, or other)
- Intermediate Tableau or Power BI experience preferred
- Intermediate project management skills required
