The Program Director is a regional leader who supervises a team that’s dedicated to service delivery and makes recommendations to other department leaders on quality enhancement.
With the Regional / State Director’s direct supervision, the role’s purpose is to monitor ADSD / Regional Centers compliance and the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) process for the persons supported.
This includes but is not limited to the oversight of timely and sound support / habilitation plan development and employee training, adequate QIDP staffing, consistent monitoring of support plans, and coordination of services.
The ideal candidate must exhibit professional and respectful behavior that aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and policies.
This includes maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, supported individuals, and external partners while acting as a liaison for Danville’s services.
The role involves developing meaningful connections with the supported persons while improving their quality of life and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Key responsibilities include overseeing staff hiring and retention, ensuring proper training, and maintaining operational and financial oversight.
The Program Director is also responsible for crisis management, effective communication, and the implementation of positive behavioral interventions.
Additionally, they must participate in strategic planning and ensure all documentation and reporting are completed promptly while upholding Danville’s standards and fostering continuous professional development.

Minimum Qualifications :
- An unencumbered RN license, or a Bachelor's degree in the human services field, which qualifies as QIDP.
- Minimum of 3 years working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Supervisory, quality assurance, and employee training experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and / or fingerprint investigation.
- Have 3 years of driving experience, a valid Nevada driver’s license, an insurable driving record, reliable vehicle, and current registration and insurance;
must meet all the company’s vehicle insurance requirements.
- Must be able to transport individuals or items weighing up to 50 pounds between different locations.
- Must maintain eligibility to work with clients funded through Nevada’s Aging and Disabilities Services (ADSD).
- This role may require travel based upon company needs

This posted position requires the ability to drive personal and company vehicles. People receiving support are transported by trained employees in company vehicles.
Danville requires our drivers to be at least 21 and have at least 3 years of driving experience. In addition, Danville drivers must have a current Nevada DL that meets our safety standards.
