Job Description :

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants to work at a partnering school district in Independence, Missouri.

School-Based Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Contract Details :

• $32 - $34 an hour
• School Year
• Hours per week : 30-32 hours per week. 4 days per week.
• Start Date : August
• End Date : May
• Location : In-person
• Details : Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for the -25 school year with an early childhood caseload. The schedule is Tuesday-Friday and the school bell times are 8 : 30am-4 : 45pm.
• Will assist the OT with providing occupational therapy services according to student IEP
• Assigned schools may include various grade levels
• May be asked to travel between school locations, mileage reimbursement will apply if COTA works between multiple school locations

Requirements :

• Missouri COTA License
• American Heart Associaiton BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
