Veterinary Assistant - Pharmacy Dept.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.Duties will include :

• Maintaining medical records.
• Obtaining histories and vitals on patients
• Filling prescriptions.
• Assisting the Veterinarian during Emergency, Urgent Care or General Practice exams
• Providing compassionate care for our pet patients.

This is a great starting position for a person looking to gain experience in the Veterinary as an assistant who works directly with our Veterinarians.

We have an extensive 6 week training program for this position.
