We are currently seeking a highly skilled Director of Heart Failure and Transplantation to join our team. This role is crucial for leading our heart failure and transplantation program, delivering exceptional patient care, and advancing the field of cardiovascular medicine.

Job Description :

We are looking for a Director of Heart Failure and Transplantation to lead and manage the heart failure program, oversee the heart transplant team, and provide expert care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to clinical excellence, research, and program development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the heart failure and transplantation program, including clinical care, research, and education.
• Oversee a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and standards of care for heart failure and transplantation patients.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate services and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Drive the growth and development of the heart failure and transplant program, including expanding patient access and service offerings.
• Engage in ongoing research activities to advance the field of heart failure and transplantation.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and mentorship of medical staff and trainees.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of medical staff, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between the program and other departments, external partners, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications :

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in cardiology, with a focus on heart failure and transplantation.
• Active medical license in State Name .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a heart failure or transplant program.
• Proven expertise in managing complex cardiovascular cases, including heart transplants.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Track record of research and publications in the field of heart failure and transplantation.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards related to transplantation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call responsibilities as needed.
