Kelly Engineering is looking for an experienced Civil Designer to grow with a dynamic and supportive company. In this role, you will prepare design plans for residential subdivisions and commercial sites, collaborate with project managers and clients, and utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare design plans for residential subdivisions and commercial sites.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients on the design of subdivisions, multi-family residential complexes, and commercial and industrial site plans.
• Develop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies, and / or detailed verbal instructions.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software daily.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in civil site plan and / or residential construction design.
• 5+ years of experience with Civil 3D software.
• Familiarity with MSD, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County Highway standards is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
