We are looking for a mission-driven full-time Grants Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position will also serve as senior grant writer.

You will play a pivotal role in helping foundations and grantors match their passions and interests with CCNH programs that comfort, heal and empower the most vulnerable among us.

CCNH is one of the largest social service agencies in the state. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record of grant success and fundraising.

The Grants Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and implementing CCNH’s grant program in order to raise funds for a number of CCNH social service programs, including general program support, capital, and special projects / needs.

Job duties include but are not limited to :

• Work closely with the Vice President of Philanthropy to establish budgets, priorities and timelines
• Guided by critical thinking and superior research skills, utilize AI, grant research memberships, and other technologies that leverage efficient acquisition of research and literature pertinent to grant topics
• Continuously scan the landscape of federal, state, and local resources to assess and match opportunities to appropriate programs and needs working closely with program leaders to determine needs that may be supported by grants
• Cultivate new and collaborative relationships with key foundations and grant-making organizations. Seek opportunities for synergy with one or more programs and resources to leverage funding in the most effective manner
• Strong collaboration skills, able to bring teams together with different expertise and create synergies that build strong and compelling grant proposals
• Working with the grants team, coordinate grant proposals and requests to support a number of CCNH social service programs and departments
• Work with internal teams such as Finance and Mission Integrity to coordinate timely and accurate grant reporting
• track all grants and proposals so that their status is current, including input and update of funder information and grant requests in CRM software
• Dedicate approximately 60% of time to grant writing; 20% of time to grantor / foundation relationship building; 20% of time to team coordination and supervision of grant reporting

Requirements :

• A Bachelors’ Degree with an emphasis in communications / or non-profit management / or other relevant field and a minimum of three years of direct grant writing experience in non-profit settings
• A proven track record of developing, executing, and receiving both large and small, multi-year grant awards
• Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local funding streams, timelines and process understanding that allows for regular and significant execution of proposals for large and small grants
• Strong mastery of Microsoft Office, and ability to learn complex database systems (Raiser’s Edge experience preferred)
• Experience working within Social Service agencies in a similar role a plus
• Ability to manage people, process, deadlines and budget
