Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met throughout our product lifecycle.

Quality Assurance and Control

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of products and processes to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Utilize methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and other continuous improvement techniques to optimize processes.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and ensure consistent quality.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory compliance and audits.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Product Development Support

  • Work closely with product development teams to integrate quality requirements into the design and development phases.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and quality considerations.
  • Perform validation and verification testing to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

Supplier Quality Management

  • Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and audit management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
