Pay-rate : $19.50 - $22.23 (based upon experience and education)

Schedule : Up to 32 hours per week with flexibility during the hours that school is in session
Every day as a PT Instructional Support Specialist you will :
- Assist the children in your care with their individualized plans for daily life.
- Support the children with classroom activities
- Ensure the students are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of the client.

The School for Integrated Learning is licensed to serve students in grades K-12 who have been identified with the following primary disabilities : behavioral and cognitive differences, autism, intellectual disabilities and speech and language impairments.
The core curriculum has been aligned with the Pennsylvania Core Standards, as well as the curricula of our partner school districts.
This innovative special education programs that work in tandem with families and school districts to ensure that students can return to their local schools and communities with the tools they will need to succeed.
The goal of the curriculum is to provide students with learning experiences that foster increased engagement and success through differentiated instruction, evidence-based instructional strategies, and rigorous learning expectations.
Each student has an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), which outlines goals for skill development and the best strategies by which the student can reach his / her goals.
A multi-disciplinary team, including the individual’s parent(s) or guardian, regularly reviews the plan to discuss challenges, progress and adjustments to goals as appropriate.
A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments.

Qualifications
EDUCATION : High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
EXPERIENCE : Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient communication skills. Proficient computer skills.
