Job Summary :

Presidio is seeking a customer-facing Cloud Program Manager experienced with managing Amazon Web Services, Azure Cloud and / or Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure and DevOps client projects.

The Program Manager should have experience leading all aspects of IT projects including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control.

Presidio Program Managers work directly with the project team, clients and partners to lead and ensure successful project delivery within scope, on time and within budget, and are expected to be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and project teams.

Travel Requirements :

This is a remote role, but you may be expected to travel up to 25%.

Business Scope :

  • The Cloud Program Manager will be a key to managing and driving our Cloud Services' most critical, complex, and enterprise level projects for our clients in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Technology, and Energy industries.
  • The Cloud Program Manager will deliver professional service projects in the Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps spaces, requiring a deep understanding of the Application Stack, Agile processes, technical project delivery, and Cloud (Amazon Web Services, Azure Cloud or Google Cloud Platform).
  • The Cloud Program Manager serves as a critical liaison between technical teams, client stakeholders, business development, and solutions architecture team members.

Technical Scope :

  • The Cloud Program Manager will be supporting technical teams working with the latest cutting-edge technologies in the Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps spaces.
  • The Cloud Program Manager supports a large Cloud and DevOps team delivering automation, assessments, cloud builds, application migrations, and workshops (Cloud and DevOps).
  • The Cloud Program Manager must understand Amazon Web Services, Azure Cloud or Google Cloud Platform technologies, and application stacks in the cloud.
  • The Cloud Program Manager will have to effectively communicate timelines, key performance indicators, manage agile scrum standups and sprints, and delivery timelines from the Presidio development team to the client stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage a portfolio of client projects across multiple service offerings.
  • Manage expectations and requirements of multiple project stakeholders (to include internal, partner and customer sponsors and stakeholders).
  • Plan and implement IT solution development projects and programs.
  • Close collaboration and alignment with the delivery and sales team leadership to drive consistent business value for our customers and support the overall business goals and strategy of Presidio.
  • Build and maintain schedules (with knowledge of relevant tools).
  • Lead resolution of issues / escalations related to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Oversee the activities of various stakeholders (Scrum meetings, project and program meetings, technical deep dive sessions, etc.).
  • Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met and escalate to Presidio leadership when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed, comprehensive project documentation and reports using project management tools.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Lead cross-functional, virtual and offshore teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project and program plans to track tasks, schedule, risks and issues to be shared with the project team and client team.
  • Ensure that projects and programs align with Presidio overall strategic objectives.

Required Skills :

  • Demonstrable skills across project management standard methodologies (PMI / PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in Confluence, Jira and Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho and similar project management toolsets.
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Experience with Change Management.
  • Experience with Cloud Adoption.

Additional Desired Skills :

  • PMP or similar professional certification.
  • CSM or similar professional certification.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar certification.
  • Azure Fundamentals or similar certification.
  • Google Cloud Digital Leader Learning Path or similar certification.
  • Experience leading projects and programs which leverage AWS and Azure technologies.
  • Strong time management, analytical, communication, thought leadership, team building, motivational and customer service skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and have ownership of staying up to date on current and emerging technologies and tools as they relate to our business and customer needs.
  • Passion, creativity, energy, and enthusiasm towards collaborating on the exciting growth and development of our company.
  • A desire to learn new technologies, methodologies, solutions and understand the business needs of our customers.
  • Adaptability to our overall vision, goals and dynamic culture and environment.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and / or military experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project and program management and general IT consulting.
