Responsibilities
- Be the expert on all things in the NYC office. You will help fellow employees with everything from getting items for their workspaces to resolving facilities issues, to guiding employees in the right direction
- Keep an inventory of supplies around the office and restock office and restroom supplies
- Monitor and respond to facility requests while maintaining customer service at the forefront
- Set up desk and supplies for new hires
- Work closely with property management staff to promote tidiness and cleanliness around the space
- Collaborate with other teammates who have in-office responsibilities to cross-train and cover for each other
- Assist with special projects that improve the workplace experience of our employees
- Work closely with our security team to ensure all guests are registered properly and welcomed into the office
Qualifications :
- Basic handyman skills and facilities experience
- Exceptional ability to prioritize time and tasks to implement reliably
- The ability and motivation to provide excellent, friendly service to many types of people working in our offices every day
- The ability to collaborate well with people in a wide variety of roles, including third party vendors (ie food and security) including a can-do, team mentality no task is too small and you're willing to jump in when needed
- Attention to detail, especially as it relates to office logistics, service quality, and written communication
- Demonstrated proactive behavior in previous roles
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and problem-solve independently without sacrificing quality of work
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
It is a PLUS if you have :
- Proficiency in Zoom, Mac, Slack, G-suite, and AV equipment
- Passion for language learning or education
- Experience bringing organization to teams and improving processes
- Experience working in NYC commercial buildings like WTC
