Automation Anywhere Developer

Position Description :

This is a hybrid onsiste role that can be completed from Miamisburg OH and Pittsburgh PA.

CGI is looking for an experienced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Process Consultant to join our team and play an integral role in serving one of our leading banking client.

In this role, you will work closely with professionals across strategy, technology, and operations disciplines to identify opportunities to drive clients to utilize RPA technology and capabilities and design automation solutions.

Ideal candidates will bring a well-rounded skillset capable of spanning strategic, business and technical disciplines and be comfortable working with client and CGI teams to shape early stage ideas into fully assessed, designed, and implemented solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals. Interacts with senior management at a client and / or within CGI on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
• Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Manages teams and / or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within CGI.
• Directs the work, interacts with the business on requirements and works with the scrum master to track stories
• Support bots in production (reconnect bot runners, ensure jobs are run), make enhancements to the bots generated from requests by the business, develop any new bots if needed (there won’t be many of these), and harden bot scripts for better performance and reliability.
• Implement and successfully deliver projects using Automation Anywhere, as part of an Agile Pod with minimal or no guidance.
• Solve simple to complex problems using Automation Anywhere platform

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing RPA solutions
• Experience with Automation Anywhere RPA tool is a MUST
• Knowledge of one or more of the leading RPA tools : Blue Prism, UI Path, Pega, etc. is a plus
• Experience assessing how RPA capabilities can best be applied to complex business situations.
• 3-4 years of engineering experience using .Net
• Good understanding of OOP principles
• Webservices : REST / SOAP
• Understanding and experience in SQL
• Knowledge of XML, HTML, XLS, XPATH, JavaScript
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Understanding and ability to work under Agile project delivery methodologies.
