Overview :

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing standardized processes and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.

You will oversee daily operations, including workload management and issue resolution, to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

Your focus will be on monitoring key performance indicators and service level agreements, analyzing trends, and driving continuous improvement by benchmarking against industry standards.

Collaboration with FinOps teams and other departments will be crucial to streamline processes and optimize service delivery, while ensuring effective coordination with audit, risk, and compliance teams.

You will provide leadership and guidance to team members, conduct performance reviews, and support their professional growth.

Additionally, you will ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, staying updated on industry changes and conducting periodic audits as necessary.

What You'll Do :

Process Standardization & Performance Metrics : Develop and implement standardized processes, procedures, and performance metrics for the assigned tower, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Operational Oversight : Oversee day-to-day operations of the tower, including workload management, task assignment, and resolution of escalated issues, to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs for the tower, analyzing performance trends, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Compare tower performance against industry benchmarks and best practices, using insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other FinOps product teams (i.e., Financial Accounting, Production & Cash Management, Reporting & Finance Data, Procurement Operations, and Integrations to streamline processes, leverage technology solutions, and optimize service delivery within the tower.

Facilitate seamless flow of information and coordination with audit, risk and compliance teams.

Leadership and Team Development : Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for development to support career growth and advancement.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight : Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards within the tower, conducting periodic audits and assessments as needed.

Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends related to the assigned tower, and implement updates and enhancements as appropriate.

Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of journal entries, intercompany transactions, month-end close activities, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed and purchase accounting.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives for these processes to enhance financial data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate 606 reporting and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Drive improvements in financial reporting processes and ensure adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies

What You'll Need :

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Shared Services management and delivery, with at least 5 years in executive leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, global operations.
  • Extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
  • Possesses executive presence and excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of technology solutions and digital transformation is a plus.
  • Should be a Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant / Cost Accountant
  • An advanced degree (Full-Time MBA with specialization in Finance or equivalent from a premier institute) is strongly preferred.
