Please click on this link if you have any questions on how to obtain a clearance : https : / / Responsibilities : Your primary responsibility will involve conducting conjugate heat transfer modeling and analysis for spacecraft and hardware using Ansys FluentYou will perform thermal model validation using test and in-flight dataYou will support thermal design decisions with analysis and calculationYou will conduct thermal design trade studies that successfully balance performance, resource use, risk, cost, and scheduleYou will coordinate with all levels of the program and engineering staff on thermal design, analysis, and test matters Basic Hiring Criteria : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalentPossess a strong background in heat transfer and fluid dynamicsMinimum 3 years of experience in thermal design and analysis using the CFD software ANSYS FLUENT and meshingAre proficient in ANSYS SpaceClaim or Discovery CAD for modeling complex systemsDemonstrate strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teamsSecurity clearance is not required at the start date, but need the ability to obtain Secret level security clearance;
