Our client is a leadingcommunity nursing NDIS and home care service that providesprofessional care Throughout The Orange Bathurst Lachlan andCentral West regions.
They are seeking a Registered Nurse to workon a parttime basis for fifteen hours per week who will beresponsible for providing professional and supportive nursing carefor their NDIS and Aged Care clients in their homes in thecommunity and clinical leadership and education for allstaff.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Deliverprofessional nursing care to clients including wound caremedication administration (including injections) catheter andcontinence management and clinicalassessments.
- Collaboratewith Aged Care and NDIS Team Leads to ensure client care goals areachieved as outlined in their supportplans.
- Notifythe Branch Manager if additional nursing care is needed beyond thesupportplan.
- Respondpromptly to changes in clients health by initiating assessmentsreviews or referrals in consultation with the client their familyoradvocate.
- Reportany changes in client condition or home environment to the AgedCare and / or NDIS Leads and / or BranchManager.
- Encourageclients independence andselfsufficiency.
- Maintainaccurate and comprehensive documentation for each clientvisit.
- Coordinatewith allied health providers and multidisciplinary healthprofessionals to support clients health andwellbeing.
- Provideclinical leadership and education to staff including training onepilepsy diabetes mealtime management medication administration andmanualhandling.
- Adhereto Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia s practice standardsand AHPRA s ethical and clinicalresponsibilities.
- Engagein ongoing professional development through trainingopportunities.
- Participatein continuous improvement activities such as meetings and planningdays.
Requirements
EducationandExperience
- CurrentAHPRAregistration.
- Experiencein communitynursing.
- Relevantexperience and / or qualifications in caring for older people orindividuals withdisabilities.

- Validdriver s license and comprehensively insuredvehicle.
- COVID19vaccination(TBD).
- CurrentFirst Aid Certificate andCPR.
