Job Duties
- Serve a critical role in Incident Management (IM) / Task Force (TF) / Team for coordination of activities being the initial engagement for all task, actions or work to ensure seamless operation.
- Manage virtual and in-person working environments for team, section or task force so that supplies are available, office equipment is functional and inventoried, meetings are scheduled with virtual and in-person options using MS Teams, Zoom or Skype and conference rooms.
Schedule meetings, reserve meeting space, coordinate agenda and provide coordination / logistical support for meetings.
- Develop, process, and track of a variety of records and reports to meet IM deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies / equipment, process supply and equipment purchases and requests, and request maintenance / repair services for staff at CDC Headquarters as well as for deployed CDC staff who are in the field.
Requests are coordinated with Emergency Operations Center logistics and resources teams and with the Management and Operations Team.
- Serve as time clerk for program / team, processing staff records for time and attendance in EOMS and in TASNet (includes maintaining leave requests, travel comp time, and overtime) to comply with CDC official system of record.
- Manage the Ops Coordinator functional mailbox and triage emails to the appropriate assigned TF / Team member(s).
- Ensure new staff is equipped with relevant information for daily emergency response requirements and rhythms as well as orient them to the response.
- Provide assistance to the IM / TF / Team Lead(s) with the compilation of documents, information and resources when needed by compiling information into a document, collating information and printing the documents
- Attend operations-related meetings and report back to the IM / TF Leads
