PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Mig Welder for an industrial manufacturing facility in Mooresville, NC . We are looking for individuals who specialize in steel MIG welding and fabrication.
Pay Rate : $21 / hr.
Monday through Thursday 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Responsibilities :
- Perform the following types of welding : Aluminum MIG and TIG, Stainless steel MIG and TIG, Mild Steel MIG and TIG.
- Use personally-owned and shop-owned hand and power tools such as welders, grinders, sanding tools, air tools, cutting tools, press brake, shear, punch machines, drill press, etc.
- Operating a forklift and overhead crane.
- Read and interpret project schematics to determine work specifications.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions.
- Assemble and weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder
- Mechanically inclined
- Mechanical experience is desired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, task-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a crew
- Must be able occasionally to lift up to 100 pounds
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent welding and fit-up skills are a must
- Ability to interpret and build off of prints
