CIVIL ENGINEER

Moline, IL

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) , named a Zweig Group’s Best Firms to Work For. is a consulting firm with a team of engineers, planners and other related design professionals is actively seeking to add a 0 4-year entry-level Civil Engineer to our Water Resources Team in our Moline, IL office.

This role will support all levels of staff within the team while providing the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Working toward attaining an Illinois Professional Engineer license
• Work on conventional, unique, and complex projects
• Involvement in sanitary sewer systems, water distribution, water & wastewater treatment plant design, and storm water management
• Collaborate with teams of varying sizes across multiple offices depending on the size and scope of the project
• Manage multiple assignments on a variety of projects
• Work in a fast-paced learning environment
• Take the initiative to interact with team members located in other CMT offices

Position Requirements :

• A bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering is required
• Previous engineering experience, or internship experience, is preferred
• Registered Engineer Intern that has passed the FE exam or is taking steps to become a certified Engineer Intern.
• Experience using drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit is preferred
• Experience with other design and analysis software tools will be recognized in the evaluation process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments on a variety of projects, work in an environment to learn quickly, take initiative, and interact with a variety of people.
• Valid driver’s license
