Responsible for responding to inquiries regarding graduate programs in a focused effort to increase student applications and enrollment specific to medical education.
Provides professional knowledge and advice regarding admissions requirements, the financial aid and scholarship process, as well as other university processes, policies, and procedures and participates in recruitment events pertaining to graduate, professional, and medical education.
Description of Duties Responsible for one-on-one or group counseling of prospective graduate, professional, or medical focused students regarding enrollment procedures, including but not limited to academic programs, funding and scholarships, financial aid, and registration.
Responds to prospective graduate, professional, and medical inquiries received via email, phone, or other channels.Develops and maintains communication plans for prospective graduates, professional and medical focused students.
Fulfills short- and long-term goals associated with the recruitment and enrollment of graduate, professional and medical focused students by utilizing data to identify target recruitment markets and efforts.
Maintains current knowledge of graduate, professional, and medical programs, policies, and processes and any updates that arise through staff training or individual efforts.
Provides support throughout the application process : from prospect to application, application to decision, decision to enrollment.
Completes weekly and monthly reports on recruitment efforts.Interprets and maintains knowledge of current federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures pertaining to admissions, financial aid, & scholarships.
Performs other duties as assigned. Supervision Received General supervision from assigned supervisor. Supervision Given Direct supervision of assigned staff.
Required Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Preferred Education Master’s degree from an accredited University.
Licenses / Certifications As condition of employment this position requires the applicant to be authorized to operate a University-Owned Vehicle for Official University Business.

Out of State Drivers are required to submit a 36-month history MVR from their prior State of residence(s). Required Experience One year of work experience, including experience in student related programs, recruitment, financial aid, admissions and / or advising.
Preferred Experience More than two years of experience counseling students in recruitment or admissions in a related area.
Use of CRM systems to recruit students. Equipment Use of standard office equipment. Working Conditions Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties.
Office environment; some travel and weekend work is required. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
