Our client is looking for Materials Planner to join their growing team.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Determines stocking levels for expendable, repairable and rotable parts based on analysis of average monthly usage, historical demand, and future requirements.
- Manages material in support of Line Maintenance, Engineering projects or Heavy Maintenance visits.
- Coordinates with Maintenance Programs, Records, and Engineering to ensure proper processes and controls are in place to maintain a compliant material program.
- Analyzes order points, forecasts demand trends, validates economic order quantities, and forwards electronic requisitions to purchasing.
- Processes rotable and repairable scrap transactions and monitors out-of-stock alerts to expedite parts to meet location requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Familiarity with inventory control, purchasing, stores, and accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of FAA and ASA standards as they apply to component repair.
- Demonstrated skill and ability to collect, organize, and analyze data, to summarize findings, and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources with customers and / or vendors.
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly contract rate range of $22.00 to $27.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
