Responsibilities :
- Expand our Client's footprint in the local stormwater and water resource market via select professional society activities.
- Collaborate with the Stormwater and Water Resource Market Leads across the region to assist developing / implementing strategy for continued stormwater growth and innovation.
- Manage the planning and detailed design projects, including management of contract document production (i.e., plan sets and specifications), hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and construction services for stormwater management facilities.
Projects may include pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization, storage and treatment facilities, multi-benefit facilities, and other conveyance measures.
- Work with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists, among others, who support specific assignments.
- Some travel is required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer.
- 4-10 years of experience in Stormwater / Water Resource engineering.
- 4+ years in planning and design solutions for urban stormwater and water resource management challenges.
- Strong design, design management, and project management experience on Stormwater and water resource projects for municipal and water districts across the region.
- Familiarity and proficiency with standard stormwater analysis tools, including HEC-RAS (1D / 2D), HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (+).
