Part-Time Day Shift
The Therapist-Recreational Music coordinates and provides clinical programs and services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities in the acute Sr.
Psychiatric unit. Develops programs to promote and contribute to the rehabilitation effort and to provide the patient and family / caregivers with the skills and resources necessary for successful communication / leisure reintegration after discharge.

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or related field; from accredited college / university.
- Upon hire : Current certification with the American Music Therapy Association, or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation
Preferred Qualifications :
- Upon hire : Board certified as a Music Therapist
- Upon hire : Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
