SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced and motivated High-Volume Catering Team Lead to join our catering team at a private Seminary in Baltimore, MD.
As a Catering Team Lead, you will work with a great team of professionals and provide exceptional catering services to clients who truly value and appreciate the importance of these events.

The ideal candidate will be timely, professional, and detail-oriented. Experience executing professional events from start to finish is a must.
This position comes with room for growth and the opportunity to gain catering experience from small casual events to large upscale events.
There is always a chance to make our events even more beautiful, by paying attention to every last detail. This is a front-of-house oriented position but culinary experience is a plus.
The Catering Assistant will support accounts within a 30-mile radius when requested.

What you'll do :
- Ensure that our clients’ catering expectations are met and exceeded through impeccable organization and flawless execution at every event.
- Provide a professional and respectful tone to catered functions.
- Assist in efficiently and professionally delivering, setting up, refreshing, and clearing every catered function.
- Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
- Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and provide service with a smile.
- Restock and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guest enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
- Clean all work areas and guest service areas on an ongoing basis.
- Adhere to SAGE’s safety and allergy prevention policies.
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
What you'll need :
- Ability to set guest tables with uniform formal place settings.
- Capable of following instructions.
- Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive demeanor required.
- TIPS Certification Required
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
