Compensation Range : $56,600 To $71,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and / or location.

Job Purpose

The Quality Auditor will provide quality assurance support to the field service team, resolving defects, and other potential issues and ensuring that service workmanship and deliverables meet customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
  • Ensures products & services meet the organizations and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements.
  • Supports services operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
  • Identifies root causes of problems in the installation process; recommends and / or implements corrective measures.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends in services quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
  • Assists in development of quality control monitoring protocols and quality KPIs.
  • Work with Project Managers and lead techs to set audit schedules performed virtually and in person.
  • Assists the installation teams with questions they may have on customer specifications and provides guidance to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s installation processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with project managers, field technicians, service engineers, service estimators, customers, and commercial sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the telecommunication / broadband industry.
  • High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • College or trade school a plus but not required.
  • Charter, Comcast or other cable provider service execution and network design experience is a plus

General Job Requirements

This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements.

Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.

  • Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds / 11.5 kilos on occasions.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
