Key Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment used in the fabrication process.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to comply with industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure timely and efficient operation of equipment.
- Assist in training team members on safe forklift operation and maintenance practices.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a related role, preferably within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engine mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
