What You'll Do
- Develop construction specifications, bid packages, budget cost estimates, construction schedules, permitting, etc as required to insure completion of projects on time and within budget
- Prepare estimates and perform takeoff while preparing and sending preliminary scope letters, bid forms and documents, to meet bid schedules
- Estimates and schedules for multidisciplinary projects
- Identify accurate estimates of rebar material, equipment, and labor for a project
- Use industry-standard software and methodologies to prepare precise cost estimates for projects, ensuring all financial considerations are accounted for
- Support budget analysis exercises and cost revisions throughout duration of
What You'll Need
- 3-5 years cumulatively of estimating, rebar, and concrete construction experience including the ability to read blueprints preferred
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and / or PlanSwift skills are a plus
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, and commitment to excellent customer services at all times
- Ability to multitask and collaborate in a functional, technical, multidiscipline, high performing team to plan and meet aggressive deadlines
