Responsibilities
Classification : Non-Exempt / Non-Bargaining
Position may be located remote. #LI-Remote
- Serving as the central point of contact for all project costing issues for an assigned area
- Analyze data to find issues and recommend solutions or policy changes when applicable
- Performing all accounting functions related to capital projects (including review for adherence to capitalization policy, review of project actuals for closing to fixed assets, project status maintenance and reporting)
- Assisting with period closing processes
- Performing capital project aging analysis to ensure timely project closes.
- Preparing journal entries
- Performing account reconciliations
- Preparing audit work papers and schedules, as required
- Other duties specific to Property Accounting
- Working Hours - Monday thru Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with 2 - 3 years of related professional experience
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles to general accounting functions
- Experience with month-end close and working with general ledger and subledgers
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Excel pivot tables and lookups
- PeopleSoft experience a plus

Salary
Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience) : $41,998 - $63,660
