A DAY IN THE LIFE

Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, and toxicity testing.

Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.

Our Field Project Manager position is located in Deer Park, TX.

As a key member of the Enthalpy Analytical team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including :

  • Manage projects focusing on Fenceline Monitoring (FLM) programs at industrial facilities in the US Gulf Coast region
  • Act as the primary liaison between the laboratory and customers
  • Provide on-site training and support for FLM field sampling with passive sampling tubes, summa canisters, and other sampling media.
  • Oversee administrative and financial aspects of projects including proposals, project set up, forecasting, invoicing / collections, and subcontractor management
  • Participating in the company's continuous improvement programs and providing support to team efforts
  • Work effectively, both independently and in a team setting
  • Knowledgeable of regulatory standards with regards to various industry group maximum achievable control technology (MACT) standards
  • Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
  • Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs
  • Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing regulatory and / or professional publications, and attending professional workshops
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients
  • Performing other duties as needed
  • Ability to develop and present on industry topics at client sites, conferences, and / or other industry meetings

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or related field
  • 10+ years of related experience in the environmental laboratory field
  • General knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to present to supervisors.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work well in a team-driven environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leaders.
