Strom Engineering Minnesota is seeking to staff an Electro-Mechanical Assembler position located in Minneapolis, MN. . Assembly responsibilities include electronic components, PCBs and sub-assemblies.
Job Duties :
- Build electronic and mechanical assemblies according to Bill-of-Materials, drawings and / or process work instructions in a timely manner.
- Assembly of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, wires, etc.) and subassemblies by following instructions, visual aids, prints, diagrams and sample parts.
- Hand populate through-hole and SMT components onto PCBs following component installation sequence and polarity orientations.
Wash PCBs using cleaning equipment.
- Solder components onto PCBs by using tools such as soldering irons, de-soldering equipment and solder removal tools.
- Perform electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors or other electronic components.
- Inspect own work for quality before moving it to the next process.
