The Role :
The Material Handler will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking / restocking of material, and performing cycle counts.
This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.
This is a 1-year contract assignment, with the potential to convert to direct-hire.
In this role you will :
- Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant.
- With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions.
- Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety.
- Put product away physically into location and in SAP.
- Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks.
- Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work as a team

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehousing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and / or move up to 40lbs daily.
- Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Astute attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
- Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
- Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.

- Hourly pay in the $21-23 range + a 10% differential for all hours worked on 2nd shift.
