Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provides full stack .Net design and development of projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing applications.
• Develops front end applications utilizing React.
• Performs complex development work; focus on learning and administering current development procedures.
• Responsible for all phases of the project life-cycle including implementation, programming, testing, and maintaining software systems.
• Builds high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
• Solves more complex problems in development and provides solutions based on technical standards, practices, and existing precedents or procedures.
• Works with own team, may interact with other related teams. Can teach and train junior colleagues on development processes and procedures.
• Contributes to team by performing analysis, monitoring systems, writing code, and assisting technical & product managers in the evaluation of product requirements for software applications.

Knowledge and Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering work experience.
• Extensive experience working with development technologies such as C# .Net, Java, SQL Server, TFS, Visual Studio, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with Rest API.
• Experience working in a TDD or BDD environment.
• Exposure to modern software development tools and processes.
• Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
• Very good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with applications in the cloud such as AWS or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
