DevOps Engineer (USAF Cloud One) - Various Level & Locations

Leidos is pursuing the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and currently has several openings for various levels of across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience help modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

These positions will be hybrid remote. Candidates may be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Gunter AFB (Montgomery, AL), Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA), Andrews AFB (D.

C. Metro Area) Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, or Joint Base Charleston, SC. If any of these locations interest you, please consider applying.

Primary Responsibilities Could Include :

• Implement DevOps capabilities, processes, and tools for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated CI / CD pipelines
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes
• Develops strategy and integration methodology around design, development and implementation of cloud based solutions
• Enable the quick development and release of changes and bug-fixes on an as-required basis and incorporation of feedback from developers / users.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes
• Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a learning environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors and two (2) years or more of experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment
• US citizenship required
• Certifications : CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and / or Kanban.
• Experience with CI / CD pipeline tools

Salary for each position will be determined by position, years of experience, and fit for the role.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
