Salary : $24-28 ab hour
Express Employment Professionals Butler County is seeking a Senior Carpenter to fill an immediate 1st Shift opening in Fairfield , OH !
Responsibilities :
- Supervise unskilled labor, employees, and subcontractors in various settings, including high-risk projects.
- Answer basic project questions and defer complex inquiries.
- Maintain daily equipment and perform emergency services
- Identify project issues and seek guidance as needed.
- Train other carpenter team members.
- Construct containment areas for dust and contaminants.
- Build metal-framed walls, acoustical ceilings, and perform roofing tasks.
- Use tools for flood cutting, salvaging, and labeling materials.
- Identify insulation types and R-values.
- Apply knowledge in trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings, roofing, and siding.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report time and materials accurately.
- Attend required operations and safety training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Previous tenure as a Carpenter is required
- Previous experience with Finished & Rough Carpentry
- Previous experience in a Lead / Supervisor Role
- Basic math skills, including fractions and square footage calculations.
- Read blueprints for all trades.
- Knowledge of wall framing, energy codes, and fire ratings.
- Proficiency with carpentry tools and temporary power sources.
- Mastery of nominal lumber and sheathing applications.
- Skilled in insulation, framing, finish carpentry, roofing, siding, windows, and sealing.
- Certified to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating booms.
Compensation : $24-28 an hour
