Job Summary :
CNC Machinists are needed for a large manufacture in Tukwila, WA. This is a very successful plant that is experiencing a ton of growth! Looking for CNC machinist that are open to different shifts with familiarity with CNC mills and / or lathes!
Job Duties :
Performs basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards.
Loads material into machine and unloads parts after operation.
Monitors and removes metal chips from tools and equipment and disposes of them in the proper container.
Monitors machine condition and reports and unusual noises or occurrences to supervisor or lead.
Monitors cutting conditions and alerts lead or supervisor if tools are not cutting properly.
Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and performs basic machine upkeep, such as wiping down outside surface of machine, lubrication, etc.
Qualifications :
- At least 1 year related CNC lathe or mill experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must have knowledge of shop practices and procedures, ability to read blueprints, and ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.
- The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
