Advantest Test Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is looking for an ECN Coordinator to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. ATS is a leading provider of massively parallel electronic test systems that includes System Level Test (SLT), burn in and semiconductor / module tests.
ATS has an exciting line of high-performance test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned engineer, with a diverse skill set to work within several engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, hands on, and logical to work successfully in a stimulating manufacturing environment.
The ECN Coordinator will lead all change management-related projects, including manufacturing tool deployments and assisting in training the manufacturing employees about manufacturing (ECN, MCN, PCN).
This is an on-site role, located at Advantest Test Solutions in Lake Forest, CA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain data storage on the computer network and master files per ISO standards.
- Responsible for review, preparation, and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO's) for manufacturing assembly instructions.
- Responsible for the interpretation of Engineering documentation, drawings, and blueprints for defining manufacturing process flow.
- Work with the process area and Manufacturing Engineering to define process flow.
- Update MRP database routing and production status, as directed.
- Publish and present weekly and monthly reports of department performance in accordance to established standards.
- Coordinate the ECO activities for manufacturing and work with other cross-functional personnel to resolve problems that result from ECO activity.
- Work with Engineering document control and Manufacturing Engineering in the timely completion of ECOs through documentation, validation / approval, and basic input of materials and drawing information into the PLM or MRP system.
- Verify ECO documentation packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Follow up on completed ECOs to ensure continued accuracy.
- Communicate ECO impact with appropriate personnel including engineering, materials, and manufacturing personnel.
- Assist in transacting excess and obsolete inventory.
- Responsible for maintaining bills of material in MRP database.
- Maintain appropriate additional documentation for process metrics.
- Willing and able to travel, as some travel may be required.
