Principal Engineer Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design

As part of the dynamic product development team of MACOM, the candidate will work with marketing, application and back-end teams to define, design and bring to production best-in-class integrated circuits for serial communications.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of introduction of products to the market, have a deep understanding of design fundamentals and building blocks.
Capability to drive the overall product flow from definition to qualification is also required.
Job Requirements :
- MSEE with minimum of 7 years of high speed and RF circuit design experience
- Demonstrated successful track record of product introduction
- In-depth understanding of all aspects of circuit design
- Proficient with EDA design tools for circuit and system level design
- Knowledge and / or prior experience with one or more serial data communication standards is a plus
- Experience with lab equipment (real-time and sampling scopes, signal and pattern generators, spectrum analyzers and VNAs)
- Experience in driving prototype evaluation, debug, and testing
- Experience with system design-in support
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational and leadership skills

Salary Range : $97,902 - $166,698
Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
