Responsible for assembling, installing, and aligning dies in the press, setting up machines, and ensuring optimal production output.

Job Requirements :

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with assembling, installing, and aligning dies in presses
• Experience setting up machines for production runs
• Ability to sharpen dies and punches as needed
• Familiarity with positioning workpieces using fixtures or stops on machine beds or dies
• Experience inspecting workpieces and making necessary adjustments
• Ability to train and oversee machine operators

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with operating press machines
• Knowledge of cleaning and lubricating machines regularly
• Ability to identify and correct misalignments or malfunctions

Job Responsibilities :

• Assemble, install, and align dies in presses according to specifications
• Set up machines to ensure optimal production output
• Sharpen dies and punches as needed
• Position workpieces using fixtures or stops on machine beds or dies
• Verify hand guards at the beginning of shifts and for new setups
• Start presses and monitor operations for alignment or malfunctions
• Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet specifications and make adjustments to correct errors
• Clean and lubricate machines on a regular basis
• Train and oversee machine operators to ensure proper procedures are followed

Pay Details : $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
