The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and business-oriented HR Director to lead our Strategic HR decisions & HR operations for the Travel Retail division in the Americas.
This role is based in Miami, Florida, and will report directly to the General Manager. As an HR business partner, you will be responsible for ensuring that our HR practices align with our business objectives and comply with US labor laws.
Your expertise will play a critical role in driving our success and enhancing our reputation in the luxury beauty sector.
What you'll get to do
- Build and maintain strategic partnership with GM and leadership team.
- Provides support to the business leadership on people management
- Link HR programs and initiatives to the overall business strategy
- Day to day strategic approach to Human Resources
- Promote and Drive Organizational Culture, policies, processes and values
- Ensures compliance with state, and federal employment laws
- Provide day to day operational HR support to the HR Generalist
- Other duties as necessary
Job Description :
Strategic HR Leadership :
o Collaborate closely with the General Manager to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the division's goals and objectives.
o Link with Global Travel Retail HR Director on all HR initiatives from HQ and specified to Travel Retail
o Be the main ambassador promoting and protecting the values of the company.
Talent Management :
o Implement the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives.
o Develop / Nurture networking in the Travel Retail industry to filter and enhance talent recruitment for the BU.
o Manage development, coordination, and execution of initiatives that build talent capability, enhance organization functioning and develop bench strength.
o Manage and implement key Talent Management initiatives, as performance management, promotions, High Potential identification and retention plan, succession plan, career planning, etc.
o Partner with management team to support and empower them identifying talent, capability issues / gaps and support / drive talent development, mentoring and training.
- Budgeting and Reporting :
- Prepare annual HR Budget including : FTEs estimation, Personnel Expenses, Training and Development plans, Restructuring, etc to support BU decisions.
- Monitor and control the achievement of the HR Budget defined for the year.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting information

Requirements :
- Experience : Minimum 8 years of significant experience on similar positions preferably in the Travel Retail Luxury & Beauty industry.
- Education : University Degree in Business Administration, Psychology or similar. Master’s Degree in HR Management or equivalent in years of experience.
- Languages : Fluent in English. Spanish is desirable.

- Requires thorough knowledge of human resource policies and procedures as well as federal and state laws.
