Job Summary :

As a Production Machine Operator at Panther Ammunition, you will play a crucial role in safely operating various machines and equipment involved in the production process.

Your attention to detail and adherence to specifications will contribute to the production of high-quality ammunition.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Operate production machinery, including priming, loading, packaging, and similar equipment, according to prints and specifications.
• Ensure production of the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Utilize precision tools to measure finished parts, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of units produced, including identifying and documenting any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use, performing basic adjustments and routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Experience in operating CNC machinery or other manufacturing equipment
• Hands-on proficiency and understanding of machinery operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues and optimize processes to enhance overall production efficiency.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Understanding of and ability to comply with applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or completion of a related apprenticeship program preferred.
• At least one year of related experience is required.
• Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.
• Must be fluent in English.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, use tools, and perform repetitive actions involving frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity is required to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect produced parts.

Mandatory Requirements :

• Must pass a background check and drug test as per ATF regulations.
• Only candidates who agree to these checks should apply.
• Work hours are Monday thru Friday 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM
